Pileh Lagoon

An emerald lagoon enclosed by towering cliffs — the main swimming stop on most Phi Phi Leh tours.

On the east side of Phi Phi Leh, a narrow gap in the cliffs opens into Pileh Lagoon (also spelled Pi Leh): a sheltered pool of jade-green water ringed by limestone walls.

Because swimming isn't allowed at Maya Bay, this is where most tours stop for a swim. Boats float into the lagoon and you jump straight off the deck. Many tours spend around 30–45 minutes here, and some offer kayaks or paddleboards.
